

Kathikas is located between Paphos and Latchi, overlooking the World Heritage area of the Akamas peninsula.
This pretty village is a ideal starting point for your exploration tour of the Akamas peninsula with its nature trails and cycling paths.
Apparently when the village was built, the stone houses were constructed on both sides of the river, with Greek Cypriots living on one side and Turkish Cypriots living on the other.
The village has kept a lot of its old character its rural charm and uniquely contains six renowned restaurants which offer a variety of Cypriot and Eastern Mediterranean cuisines at highly competitive prices.
The village has its own Medical Centre with regular visits from a doctor.
These is also a post office, where parcels can be collected and postage stamps purchased.
